A trade continuity agreement will see Palestinian businesses and consumers benefitting from continued trade after the UK leaves the European Union, UK International Trade Secretary Dr Liam Fox said today (Monday 18 February).

In Ramallah, the UK-Palestinian Authority agreement was signed by both the International Trade Secretary and Her Excellency, Abeer Odeh, Minister of National Economy.

The agreement simplifies trade and will allow businesses to trade as freely as they do now once the UK leaves"...

NABLUS, Tuesday, February 19, 2019 (WAFA) – The 'Al-Quds Index' of the Palestine Exchange closed Tuesday trading at 543.36 points, down by 0.22 points (0.04%) compared to the last trading session, according to the PEX daily report.

A Total of 889,415 shares were traded with a value of $1,599,993.317 executed during 169 transactions.

Shares of 19 companies were traded. Share price increased in six companies whereas decreased in eight others.

A specialist factory has been setup in the besieged Gaza Strip to peel, cut and back potatoes and provide chips to local and international restaurants, and it’s run entirely by women.

Rosetta factory manager, Riham Al-Madhoun, said the idea for the factory was thought up from the need to provide jobs to locals and protect Palestinian farmers.
